Andy Barram provides individual therapy to older adolescents and adults.  Counseling often facilitates finding a path through the challenges of life.  The best counseling identifies your strengths and moves with your natural resilience to generate the energy for change.  Many people seek mental health support to find relief from experiences of depression, anxiety, trauma, and anger.  Counseling is often accessed to address relationship or professional challenges and establish clarity for moving forward.

 

Trained in cognitive-behavioral therapy, Andy Barram works with clients to increase personal awareness and reduce distressing thought patterns. Troublesome habits are frequently resolved through counseling. Andy incorporates principles and approaches of both cognitive-behavioral therapy and mindfulness. Cognitive behavior therapy develops an understanding of people and individualized treatment interventions through exploration of the interaction between thoughts, emotions, and actions. Mindfulness encourages a greater awareness of self with an attitude of acceptance. Insight is promoted with increased compassion for self and reduced distress through deep inner peace.
